The former Chairman of the Board and founder of Allegro Resorts Corporation, Mr. del Pino has held many executive positions in the resort hotel industry, including positions at RockResorts Inter-national, Regent International, Gulf & Western Hotels, Jack Tar Villages and Resorts, and AMHSA. Mr. del Pino has received numerous awards in the Caribbean, and was nominated for the "Hotelier of the World Award" by Hotels Magazine in the year 2000. Mr. del Pino serves as the Tourism Advisor to the President of the Dominican Republic. Benny Guevara has twenty years of experience in managing and marketing hotels throughout the Caribbean. The former Chief Executive Officer of Allegro Resorts, Mr. Guevara held executive positions at Regent International, Jack Tar Villages and Resorts, and AMHSA Hotels. Mr. Guevara worked closely with Mr. del Pino at Allegro, Regent, Jack Tar, and AMHSA. Mr. Guevara was recognized as one of the 25 Most Influential Executives in the Travel Industry in February, 1999 by TTG North America magazine. George Spence was formerly Vice President for corporate development of Occidental Hotels & Resorts, the largest chain of all-inclusive resort properties in the Caribbean and Central America. Prior to joining Occidental, Mr. Spence served as Vice President and CFO of Allegro Resorts Corporation. Mr. Spence has over twenty years of work experience in the Caribbean and Latin America in the resort sector, finance and insurance. He is a frequent speaker on the Caribbean hotel industry, and the valuation and financing of hotels, at the UCLA Hotel Industry Conference, the NYU Latin American Hotel Industry Conference, and the Caribbean Hotel Association Industry Conference.
